Iowa Hawkeye fans excited for hoops to start

Iowa Hawkeye fans are excited for the men's basketball season to get started. Just kidding. Go Hoosiers. Kelvin Sampson may recruit some criminals, but the War on Drugs is illegal to begin with so unless I hear that Bud Mackey did something violent that infringed upon the liberties of another person then I'm gonna give him a pass. Word. Elect whatever presidential candidate will end the War on Drugs. It ruins more lives than the drugs do. It's not like he's Pierre Pierce or anything.

Indiana Hoosiers nearly twice as good as Iowa Hawkeyes

Dear Iowa Hawkeye fans,

It's Sunday now. Did you drink enough beer last night to wear off the sting of that Indiana Hoosier whoopin' that was handed to you? Like I've said before, at least y'all have basketball to get excited about. Haha. Bwahahahaha. Who is your best player? Tony Freeman? Seth Gorney? I saw Brad Lohaus walking around the grocery store the other day. Maybe you can bring him out of retirement. Is Kirk gonna bolt?

Bud arrested for coke. How funny. Welcome to the Kelvin Sampson era. Indiana still owns Iowa.

IOWA CITY, Iowa -- Kellen Lewis was so good and so fast against Iowa that he even threw a touchdown pass to himself.

Well, sort of.

Lewis was credited with a TD pass when he ran 71 yards after picking up a teammate's fumble after a completion and added two conventional scoring passes in leading Indiana past reeling Iowa 38-20 on Saturday.

Lewis also had touchdown throws of 39 yards to James Hardy and 4 yards to Ray Fisher as the Hoosiers (4-1, 1-1 Big Ten) rolled to their biggest victory over Iowa since a 52-20 win in 1945. He finished 19 of 26 for a career-best 322 yards and one interception.

Iowa (2-3, 0-2) lost its third straight this season and has lost its last seven Big Ten games. The Hawkeyes played without four injured starters and added to their difficulties with penalties and breakdowns in pass protection. More...
