The Indiana Hoosiers own the Iowa Hawkeyes

They take our reject basketball coaches.


They try to snag our reject recruits.


The lose to us 38-20 on their own turf.



Indiana owns Iowa.


IOWA CITY, Iowa -- Kellen Lewis was so good and so fast against Iowa that he even threw a touchdown pass to himself.


Well, sort of.


Lewis was credited with a TD pass when he ran 71 yards after picking up a teammate's fumble after a completion and added two conventional scoring passes in leading Indiana past reeling Iowa 38-20 on Saturday.


Lewis also had touchdown throws of 39 yards to James Hardy and 4 yards to Ray Fisher as the Hoosiers (4-1, 1-1 Big Ten) rolled to their biggest victory over Iowa since a 52-20 win in 1945. He finished 19 of 26 for a career-best 322 yards and one interception.


Iowa (2-3, 0-2) lost its third straight this season and has lost its last seven Big Ten games. The Hawkeyes played without four injured starters and added to their difficulties with penalties and breakdowns in pass protection. More...
